The South West Regional Specialist Public Health Training Scheme is an integrated scheme for specialist registrars in public health medicine and dentistry and public health specialist trainees. Some specific differences exist between the training programmes for the two groups, but the schemes are intended to provide equal opportunities for high quality training and equivalence as far as possible and practical at the present time.
